Andrea Plassard
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
Andrea is an In-Charge level accountant who joined WD&W in July 2002. She entered the public accounting industry after working as the Chief Accountant and Assistant Comptroller for the Ohio Turnpike Commission for 11 years.
She is a graduate of Cleveland State University, where she earned a BBA with a major in accounting. She is also a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College with a Masters of Business Administration.

Andrea is experienced in many industries and is involved in reviews, compilations, and other accounting work, as well as the preparation and review of income tax returns. She is a member of the Firm's Financial Planning, Not-For-Profit, and Private Clubs Practice Groups.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
For a number of years, Andrea has volunteered and served as treasurer in organizations related to her children's schools. She is an active member of St. Vitus parish, where she served on the parish council for three years.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Treat people with respect and they will respect you.
What is one character trait you highly value? I value people that are generous with their time and resources.
Describe yourself in one word. Conscientious.
What was your favorite class in college? I enjoyed all the classes in the Master's program at Baldwin Wallace, because I went through the program with the same small group of students so the team approach to projects and studying was used.
How do you spend April 16th? We went on our first cruise as a family, but we missed the boat (literally) so it was a trip to Nassau - still fun.
How do you unwind? I enjoy playing tennis, walking, and exercise in general.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you? I would want my family with me.
