Daniel B. Holben, CPA

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

Dan is a graduate of the University of Akron.  He lives with his wife and two sons in North Royalton and was admitted as a Partner of WDW in 1997.

RESPONSIBILITIES AT WDW

Dan is the partner in charge of the Firm's Accounting and Auditing Department and has overall responsibility for the Firm's quality-control programs.

Dan's diversified client base includes manufacturing and distribution industries, as well as employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, and other businesses and their owners.

He has extensive experience in personal financial planning (including retirement and estate planning), and assisting closely-held businesses and their owners in achieving their goals and objectives.

How do you define success?  Being happy and constantly learning and improving everything I do.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?  Treat everyone you meet with respect and the same way you want to be treated.

Describe yourself in one word.  Steady.

Describe the best vacation you’ve ever taken?  A road trip on historic Route 66 with a side trip to the Grand Canyon.

How do you unwind?  Walking, reading, traveling, or planning a trip.

What would you like to try?  Play the guitar.

What one thing would most people find surprising about you?  My ancestors were original settlers in an area of Pennsylvania and two of my ancestors served in the Civil War.

If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, whom would it be?  Thomas Edison.

Favorite music group?  The Beatles.
