Jen Witczak
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
Jen graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting. She has been practicing public accounting since 1999 and joined WDW in 2004 as an In-Charge level accountant.
SPECIALTY AREAS
Jen serves a diverse clientele which operate in several industries. Her emphasis, however, is in the Construction, and Real Estate industries. She is also a member of the Firm's Private Clubs and Oil & Gas/Energy Practice Groups.
She has experience in conducting audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as in the preparation of income tax returns.

BEHIND THE CREDENTIALS
Who has been the most influential person in your life/career? My parents - they have always been there for me, helping to steer me in the right direction in both my life and career decisions.
What did you learn during your first year on the job that you still use today? Things change all of the time, and you need to learn to adapt to those changes.
If your child wanted to own his/her own business, what would you tell him/her? You still have to pay me if you want me to do your bookkeeping or taxes!
What is the best book you’ve ever read? The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
What was your favorite class in college? Intro to Film (basically a movie class).
How do you unwind? Sitting outside on my deck (weather permitting) and reading a good book while taking in the sunshine.
What one thing about you would most people find surprising? I was in the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony my senior year of high school and went on a two-week tour of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.
If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, whom would it be? Jane Austen - I can’t help it, I love the classics!
Favorite music group? The Fray, Matchbox 20.
Have you ever played a musical instrument? The flute.
