Raymond G. Onderisin, CPA
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
Ray attended Heidelberg College and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He started his accounting career in 1990 with Tischler, Beard, Wallace & Co., and joined WD&W in 1999 when the two firms merged. He was promoted to partner in 2007.
RESPONSIBILITIES AT WDW
Ray is a partner in our accounting and auditing deptartment. He is responsible for engagement planning and supervision, staff training, and business development. He is chairman of the firm's oil and gas/energy practice group, and works principally from our Mentor office.
SPECIALTY AREAS
Ray has experience in multi-state financial statement audits, review engagements, consultations on structuring of advanced real property transactions, forecasts and projections, organization of client accounting systems, and litigation support.
He services a diverse clientele in industries including oil and gas, real estate, construction, retail, and manufacturing and is a member of the Firm's real estate and construction practice groups.

Describe the best vacation you’ve ever taken? One-day trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame with my Dad when I was 10.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Pro Bowler or Farmer.
What one thing would most people find surprising about you? That I’ve never tasted coffee.
If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, whom would it be? My wife, Babe Ruth, or Thomas Jefferson… but not all at the same time.
What would you like to learn? How to solve the Rubik’s Cube without peeling off the stickers.
Favorite music group? Rage Against the Machine.
