WALTHALL RECOGNIZED FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITMENT

“We AAM to Serve Award” salutes those who make a difference in their communities

CLEVELAND – Walthall CPAs was recently recognized for its ongoing commitment to its communities by the Association for Accounting Marketing. The “We AAM to Serve” award salutes the corporate social responsibility philosophy of firms that go above and beyond in community involvement.

Walthall’s “Giving Back, Looking Forward” initiative won in the small firm category. “Our judges were blown away by the level of community involvement this year’s winners have shown,” said Rebecca Weiand, co-chair of the “We AAM to Serve” awards committee. “Not only were we impressed with how many hours were donated to their community service initiatives, we were inspired by the various ways they were able to give back.”

“The “We AAM to Serve” award is a great thing to be recognized for,” said Richard T. Lash, CPA, managing partner at Walthall CPAs. “At Walthall, we take our core value of stewardship seriously, which is reflected in our “Giving Back, Looking Forward” initiative. Our firm supports many charitable causes, and all of our offices donate much time and money to various nonprofits in our communities. We are proud to give our employees the time, programs, and opportunities to do so,” he concluded.
