Accounting firm celebrates more than 73 years in business

CLEVELAND – Walthall CPAs received the 2017 Business Longevity Award from Power Players of Cleveland in recognition for demonstrated ability to adapt and evolve with the changing times in the more than 50 years category. Walthall CPAs is a full-service regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm with offices in Cleveland, Amherst, Mentor, and Wooster, Ohio. The firm was formed in 1944.

Power Players of Cleveland presented the second annual Business Longevity Awards to 46 Cleveland-area companies with 50 or more years of business at its quarterly luncheon on August 3, 2017. Managing Partner Richard T. Lash and nine other Walthall team members accepted the award. Walthall and other award recipients are featured in the August edition of Smart Business magazine.

“Seeing that nine out of 10 startup companies fail in the first few years, this is a tremendous accomplishment. The accounting industry has had some monumental changes over the last several decades. We are honored to receive this recognition and proud that we were able to rise to the challenges and maintain our presence in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio,” commented Lash.
