The Walthall Brand

Our story was started more than 70 years ago by Orville Walthall and John Drake, two accounting professors turned entrepreneurs. Since 1944, through steady growth and acquisitions, our firm has evolved into a strong, regional firm with four offices and nearly 70 employees, proudly serving business, individual, and nonprofit clients.

The rebranding of Walthall, Drake & Wallace was launched in March 2013, a few months after two new offices joined the firm. The Walthall management team made the decision to revisit and update our vision, our brand position, and the processes that touch both our clients and staff. Keeping in mind the traditions and solid principles of our founders and those of the firms we have merged with through the decades, we developed a new, consistent message, vision, and brand. Through research, surveys, and trial and error, our new brand has emerged as Walthall CPAs (pronounced Wall-thall).
